The MT4 & MT5 Trade Copier
Built Into Trading Router
Mirror positions between MetaTrader accounts in real time — and fan a single TradingView alert out to as many as 20 broker accounts at once. Both ways of trading multiple accounts, included in every plan.
No credit card required · No per-account add-on fees
Fan-out or copy — pick the one that fits
"Trading multiple accounts" means two different things, and Trading Router does both. Which one you want depends on where the trade originates.
A TradingView alert can fan out to your main accounts, and those accounts can in turn act as copier sources for others — for example, one strategy driving several personal accounts while a separate manually-traded account mirrors to a second broker.
Copy in every MetaTrader combination
The copier is platform-agnostic in both directions — the source and destination do not have to be the same MetaTrader version, or the same broker.
| Direction | Source terminal EA | Destination terminal EA |
|---|---|---|
| MT4 → MT5 | Mt4CopyOut | Mt5CopyIn |
| MT5 → MT4 | Mt5CopyOut | Mt4CopyIn |
| MT4 → MT4 | Mt4CopyOut | Mt4CopyIn |
| MT5 → MT5 | Mt5CopyOut | Mt5CopyIn |

Set up the copier in five steps
Full walkthrough with screenshots in the copier documentation.
Start CopyIn before CopyOut. The moment CopyOut launches it transmits everything currently open on the source account — if CopyIn is not yet listening, that opening snapshot is missed and the two accounts start out of sync.
Token pairing matters too: Master token No. 1 must be paired with Client token No. 1. Mixing numbers across pairs will not connect.
The copier matches net exposure, not tickets
This is the single most misunderstood part of any copier, so it is worth being explicit. The destination account ends up with the same market exposure as the source — not an identical list of trades.
| Event on source | What the source holds | What the destination does |
|---|---|---|
| Open 10 lots EURUSD long | 10 lots long | Opens 10 lots EURUSD long |
| Open 4 lots EURUSD short | 10 long + 4 short (net 6 long) | Closes 4 lots of its long — leaving 6 lots long |
Both accounts now carry net 6 lots long EURUSD. The exposure is identical; the ticket lists are not. If your accounting depends on ticket-for-ticket replication, this distinction matters — if it depends on exposure, it does not.
Only open positions replicate. A pending order sitting on the source account is not mirrored — but the moment it triggers and becomes an open position, that position is copied like any other.
