Multi-account trading

The MT4 & MT5 Trade Copier
Built Into Trading Router

Mirror positions between MetaTrader accounts in real time — and fan a single TradingView alert out to as many as 20 broker accounts at once. Both ways of trading multiple accounts, included in every plan.

No credit card required  ·  No per-account add-on fees

Two models

Fan-out or copy — pick the one that fits

"Trading multiple accounts" means two different things, and Trading Router does both. Which one you want depends on where the trade originates.

📡 Signal fan-out
The trade originates from a TradingView alert. One webhook message fires the same trade on every connected account simultaneously — up to 20 of them. Nothing is "copied"; each account receives the instruction directly, so there is no lead-account lag.
🔁 Trade copier
The trade originates from a source MetaTrader account — you trading manually, or another EA. The CopyOut EA streams every change to the CopyIn EA on your destination terminals, which reproduce your net exposure in real time.
They combine.

A TradingView alert can fan out to your main accounts, and those accounts can in turn act as copier sources for others — for example, one strategy driving several personal accounts while a separate manually-traded account mirrors to a second broker.

Supported directions

Copy in every MetaTrader combination

The copier is platform-agnostic in both directions — the source and destination do not have to be the same MetaTrader version, or the same broker.

Setup guide

Set up the copier in five steps

Full walkthrough with screenshots in the copier documentation.

1
Download both EAs
Grab the CopyOut and CopyIn EAs for your platforms from the Downloads page.
2
Flatten the destination
Close open positions and pending orders on the destination account so the copier starts clean.
3
Start CopyIn first
Attach CopyIn to a chart on the destination terminal and enter your Client Token.
4
Then start CopyOut
Attach CopyOut on the source terminal with your Master Token — the matching numbered pair.
5
Verify the mirror
CopyOut pushes the current book immediately, then streams every change. Check the net position matches.
Order matters.

Start CopyIn before CopyOut. The moment CopyOut launches it transmits everything currently open on the source account — if CopyIn is not yet listening, that opening snapshot is missed and the two accounts start out of sync.

Token pairing matters too: Master token No. 1 must be paired with Client token No. 1. Mixing numbers across pairs will not connect.

Behaviour to know

The copier matches net exposure, not tickets

This is the single most misunderstood part of any copier, so it is worth being explicit. The destination account ends up with the same market exposure as the source — not an identical list of trades.

Event on sourceWhat the source holdsWhat the destination does
Open 10 lots EURUSD long10 lots longOpens 10 lots EURUSD long
Open 4 lots EURUSD short10 long + 4 short (net 6 long)Closes 4 lots of its long — leaving 6 lots long

Both accounts now carry net 6 lots long EURUSD. The exposure is identical; the ticket lists are not. If your accounting depends on ticket-for-ticket replication, this distinction matters — if it depends on exposure, it does not.

Pending orders are not copied.

Only open positions replicate. A pending order sitting on the source account is not mirrored — but the moment it triggers and becomes an open position, that position is copied like any other.

Features

What you get on every plan

🔢 Up to 20 accounts
Account capacity scales with your plan, from 3 up to 20. Signals and symbols are unlimited on all of them.
🏦 Cross-broker
Source and destination can live at different brokers — copying runs terminal to terminal through our server.
🗺️ Symbol mapping
When two brokers name the same instrument differently, map them once instead of maintaining parallel setups.
📊 Net TP & Net SL
Portfolio-level profit and loss targets. Trading halts automatically once the account hits your daily limit.
📰 News filter
Pause execution around scheduled high-impact news, so a copied trade does not land in a spread spike.
⚙️ Per-EA configuration
CopyOut and CopyIn each expose their own Inputs, so you can tune source and destination behaviour separately.
FAQ

Trade copier — Common Questions

Can I copy trades from MT4 to MT5?
Yes — and in every other combination: MT5 to MT4, MT4 to MT4, MT5 to MT5. Install the CopyOut EA on the source terminal and the matching CopyIn EA on the destination terminal.
How many accounts can one TradingView alert trade?
Up to 20 MT4, MT5 or NinjaTrader accounts, depending on plan. Signals and symbols are unlimited on every tier — account count is the only thing that scales with price. See pricing.
Does the copier copy pending orders?
No — only open positions. A pending order on the source is not replicated, but once it triggers and becomes an open position it is copied straight away.
Will the destination hold exactly the same trades as the source?
It holds the same net position, not the same tickets. A source running 10 lots long and 4 lots short EURUSD is net 6 lots long, and the destination will simply hold 6 lots long. Same exposure, different ticket list.
Can I copy between different brokers?
Yes. Copying runs terminal to terminal through the Trading Router server, so source and destination can sit at different brokers. Use symbol mapping if the brokers use different names for the same instrument.
Which EA do I start first?
CopyIn, on the destination terminal. CopyOut transmits the source account's entire open book the moment it launches, so CopyIn must already be running to receive it.
Do I need a separate subscription for the copier?
No. The copier EAs are included with every Trading Router plan and available on the Downloads page — there is no separate copier licence or per-account add-on fee.
