Trading Router vs PineConnector
Both route TradingView alerts to MetaTrader in about a second. The differences that actually decide it are price per account, NinjaTrader support, and what happens when you outgrow one account.
Choose Trading Router if you trade more than one account, need NinjaTrader 7 or 8, or want a built-in MT4/MT5 trade copier. Its 3-account entry plan costs $14.99/month against PineConnector's $53/month for the same three accounts.
Choose PineConnector if brand track record and prop-firm familiarity outweigh cost, or if you want the longer 14-day trial before committing.
Cost per account, side by side
The two products price differently: PineConnector starts at one account and charges to add more, while every Trading Router plan starts at three. That makes the entry tiers hard to compare directly — so this table lines them up by the number of accounts you actually get.
| Accounts you need | Trading Router | PineConnector |
|---|---|---|
| 1 account | $14.99/mo (3-account plan) | $26/mo — Starter |
| 3 accounts | $14.99/mo | $53/mo — Advanced |
| 5 accounts | $19.99/mo | $106/mo — Professional |
| 10 accounts | $34.99/mo | $106/mo — Professional |
| 20 accounts | $69.99/mo | Not offered on public tiers |
| Free trial | 7 days, no card | 14 days, no card |
At one account the gap is modest. At three it is roughly $38/month, and at ten it is around $71/month — because PineConnector's per-account pricing climbs while Trading Router's does not.

Which one suits your setup
Trading Router is the better fit if…
- You run more than one broker account — the price gap compounds with every account you add.
- You trade futures on NinjaTrader, or still run NinjaTrader 7, which almost no bridge supports any more.
- You want a trade copier between MetaTrader accounts without buying separate copier software.
- You need portfolio-level risk stops (Net TP / Net SL) rather than per-trade stops only.
- You want a news filter that pauses execution around scheduled high-impact releases.
- One alert needs to place several orders — a basket entry, or scaling into a position.
PineConnector is the better fit if…
- You want the most widely-discussed name in the category, with the largest body of community setup guides.
- You want a longer runway to evaluate — 14 days versus 7.
- You rely on Telegram trade notifications as part of your workflow.
- You want the more detailed analytics dashboard for reviewing execution history.
- You trade a single MetaTrader account and none of the multi-account economics apply to you.
Moving from PineConnector to Trading Router
Both products are driven by TradingView webhook alerts, so the shape of your setup does not change. Your Pine Script strategy logic, indicators and entry conditions all stay exactly as they are — what changes is the alert message body and the webhook URL.
1. Keep your strategy, rewrite the alert string
Your alert() call currently emits PineConnector's format. Replace that string with Trading Router syntax — token, signal, symbol, risk_lots and any optional fields. The syntax reference lists every field, and the no-code alert guide covers it if you would rather not touch Pine Script at all.
2. Swap the EA on your terminal
Remove the PineConnector EA and install the Trading Router EA from the Downloads page, following the MT4 or MT5 setup guide. Paste your Client Token into the EA inputs.
3. Point the webhook at Trading Router and test
Update the webhook URL in your TradingView alert, then fire a test alert from your dashboard before letting a live strategy drive it. Run both bridges side by side on a demo account for a day if you want to compare fills directly.
Budget about 15 minutes. The trial is free and needs no card, so you can complete the whole migration and evaluate it before paying anything.
